The Wild Bunch

On this day in 1896, Butch Cassidy was released from the Wyoming State Penitentiary. He would go on to form the Wild Bunch, and along with the Sundance Kid would terrorize the West for the next 5 years. Robbing trains and banks throughout the West, the gang netted over $200,000 ( approximately 4 million in today’s dollars)
